Solid line: loading. Dashed: unloading. The shaded area between them is the energy the mount turns into heat on every cycle — that is its damping.

Description

Silentflex® traction compression vibration mounts for on-board systems consist of anti-vibration elastomer for highly effective shock absorption and work in both compression and tension. The frame, upper plate and axle of the vibration damper are made from steel.

The vibration mount is used to protect electronic, navigation and measuring instruments, vehicle generator sets and on-board control panels against vibrations and shocks.

Key features and benefits of Silentflex® Traction compression vibration mounts:

  • Withstand temperatures from – 20 °C to + 80 °C (optional: – 50 °C to + 200 °C);
  • Max. allowable excitation amplitude: ± 0,5 mm;
  • Amplification coefficient at resonance: < 5;
  • Max. axial displacement on impact: 7 mm;
  • Structural resistance corresponding to a continuous acceleration of 10 g under maximum load.
