Anti-vibration mounts for precision instruments
Microscopes, balances, optical and metrology equipment. Here the vibration does not come from the equipment: it comes from the floor, traffic or the machines next door.
What to consider
- You have to isolate at very low frequencies, 1 to 5 Hz: soft springs or a floating slab.
- For a whole laboratory, a floating slab, as for the URV microscope or the ALBA synchrotron.
- Measure the floor vibration before choosing.
