Why Silentflex
When a standard solution is not enough
A catalogue mount works for many machines. But a train at 300 km/h, a nuclear power plant or a data centre in a seismic zone need more: engineering, testing and a manufacturer that stands behind what it designs.
Expected service life
Standard rubber versus all-metal Silentflex
What changes for critical equipment over its service life.
Why Silentflex
What is behind every anti-vibration mount
In-house manufacturing
We design and make rubber-metal and all-metal anti-vibration mounts, standard and custom, in Astillero (Cantabria, Spain), under ISO 9001 and with a two-year warranty.
In-house laboratory
We test every product line in our own laboratory, and qualify it at accredited laboratories when the project requires it.
Our own patents
Floating slab with an international patent (PCT/ES2008/000469, US 13/463,320), seismic plinth (PCT/ES2018/070304) and a flexible bush patented in Eurasia. Trade mark registered in the EU, the US and China.
Accredited tests
Telcordia GR-63-CORE zone 4 seismic qualification and the IEEE 344 nuclear standard, 10 t impact tests and a fatigue life of 10 million cycles.
International track record
Projects in 11 countries for Hitachi Rail, Endesa, Repsol, Telefónica, the EUIPO, the ALBA Synchrotron and nuclear power plants such as Chernobyl and Krško.
Built for the extreme
100% metal solutions for where rubber fails: heat, cold, oil, fire, impacts and earthquakes. They do not burn, do not age and, if overloaded, never fail completely.
How we work
- 1
We listen
You tell us about the equipment, the environment and the problem. If needed, we measure.
- 2
We calculate and simulate
Frequencies, loads and displacements; in complex cases, dynamic simulation before the first prototype.
- 3
We manufacture
At our plant in Astillero, with standard parts or parts designed for your project.
- 4
We test
In our laboratory and, when the project calls for it, at accredited laboratories.
- 5
We stand behind it
A two-year warranty and, for the floating slab, a results guarantee: if it does not reduce noise and vibration, we refund your money.
