Four common cushions compression-tested in our laboratory. In the chart, the 990500 (up to 1358 kg with 7.2 mm, 7.3 J per cycle) and the 990002H21 (up to 1726 kg with 4.5 mm, 3.4 J per cycle): tap one to compare them. Below, the reports for the 990029A (two stacked cushions, 303 kg with 12.8 mm) and the 990602 (811 kg with 5.4 mm).

How the stainless steel wire cushion works, filmed in our lab.

The simplest assembly: one cushion carries the load, the other holds it back if the load lifts. The cushion is elastic like rubber, but made of AISI 304 stainless steel, so it works with corrosive fluids and extreme temperatures.

Description

The Silentflex® all-metal shock absorber is made from stainless steel wire, uniformly distributed and compressed to obtain the geometric shape and dimensions required by the customer, providing high performance in vibration damping.

Anti-vibration metal vibration isolators are available in over 950 standard models and over 2000 custom designs. We have the ability to manufacture metal isolators of any type, shape and size with the required anti-vibration properties. This shock absorber is ideal for any application, including industry, transport and many others.
