1Presses
The problem
Every stroke of a press is an impact that passes into the workshop slab. It is felt by the machines next to it, in the offices and sometimes by the neighbours, and it calls for special foundations.
What we fit
Press mounts with springs and a metal cushion that absorb the impact and return the press to its place. No special foundation is needed.
Typical choice
Press machine vibration isolator800–14,000 kg · 10–25 Hz
Vibration mounts 954416350–3,000 kg · 15–25 Hz
Vibration mounts 95420150–900 kg · 18–25 Hz
Stainless axial vibration mounts70–1,400 kg · 15–25 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
2Machine tools and machining centres
The problem
A lathe or machining centre needs to be level and stable: if it picks up the shocks from the presses next to it, parts come out of tolerance.
What we fit
Anti-vibration levelling feet, which level and isolate at the same time, or all-metal isolators under the base.
Typical choice
Machine levelling feet25–7,000 kg · 15 Hz
Vibration mounts 954416350–3,000 kg · 15–25 Hz
Vibration mounts S40230–700 kg · 15–20 Hz
Vibration mounts S120 — S125120–7,000 kg · 13–20 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
3Compressor
The problem
The compressed-air compressor runs all day and passes its vibration to the slab and the workshop pipework.
What we fit
Anti-vibration mounts under the compressor, chosen for its weight and speed.
Typical choice
Vibration mounts 954202-95420350–7,000 kg · 11–22 Hz
Square and oval base vibration mounts42–5,000 kg · 15–20 Hz
Equal-frequency vibration mount4–3,125 kg · 2–8 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
4Metrology room
The problem
Measuring machines work in microns. Press impacts and forklift traffic coming through the floor distort the measurement.
What we fit
A floating slab or low-frequency springs under the measuring machine, separating it from the workshop floor.
Typical choice
Anti-vibration floating slab1–4.5 Hz
Spring isolator390–8,760 kg · 3–9 Hz
Single anti-vibration springs5–730 kg · 3–9 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
