Processing plant
From truck to mill: where an ore plant vibrates
Start the plant
Start it and compare with and without Silentflex.

Illustrative simulation, not a measurement.
1Hopper and feeder
The problem
The truck dumps rock into the hopper: impacts and constant feeder vibration that fatigue the structure and loosen the bolts.
What we fit
Metal cushions and high-load isolators under the feeder, absorbing shocks and not degrading with dust or oil.
Typical choice
Anti-vibration metal cushion0–3,000 kg · 10–35 Hz
Vibration mounts 954202-95420350–7,000 kg · 11–22 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
2Primary crusher
The problem
A jaw crusher pounds rock non-stop: high dynamic loads, impacts and structural fatigue that reach the whole plant.
What we fit
A floating slab under the crusher or high-load all-metal mounts, calculated for its weight and operating frequency.
Typical choice
Anti-vibration floating slab1–4.5 Hz
Vibration mounts 954202-95420350–7,000 kg · 11–22 Hz
Double springs with retention80–1,460 kg · 7–9 HzThe final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
3Conveyor belts
The problem
Idlers, drums and gear motors vibrate along hundreds of metres of structure.
What we fit
All-metal isolators under the gear motors and transfer points, with no rubber to crack in sun, cold or oil.
Typical choice
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
4Vibrating screen
The problem
The screen is built to vibrate. If its vibration passes into the structure, it fatigues it, makes noise and affects everything around it.
What we fit
Silentflex double spring with restraint: it isolates the screen and, with its progressive stiffness and anti-lock system, contains it at start-up and shutdown.
Typical choice
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
5Secondary crusher
The problem
The cone crusher spins out of balance and takes impacts: vibration in resonance with the structure if it is not isolated.
What we fit
Double spring mounts or a floating slab, calculated one by one for the load and frequency.
Typical choice
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
6Ball mill
The problem
A horizontal mill turns with tonnes of load and balls inside: low-frequency vibration that travels through the ground.
What we fit
Anti-vibration floating slab: the mill foundation floats on spring isolators with access to replace them.
3.5–4.5 Hz isolators · up to 700 kg each
Typical choice
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
7Slurry pumps and pipework
The problem
The pumps pass vibration to the foundation and the slurry pipes, which suffer stress and fatigue.
What we fit
Double spring with restraint or S402 under the pump, and all-metal telescopic supports on the pipework.
Typical choice
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
8Control room and switchboards
The problem
Instruments, PLCs and switchboards sit in the same plant as the machines: vibration causes faults and false alarms.
What we fit
A floating slab, all-metal mounts or wire rope isolators under the sensitive equipment.
Typical choice
Proven in mining: all-metal bases for Minera Escondida, Chile (2015).
The final choice depends on the load per mount, the speed and the environment. An engineer confirms it with you.
